  • Target launches Target Ticket video service

    Minneapolis – Target Corp. is rolling out its Target Ticket digital video service nationwide. The service allows users to download and view digital video content on their personal digital devices and channels.

  • Kodak board elects new chair

    Eastman Kodak Company has elected James V. Continenza chairman of the board. Continenza has been a Kodak director since April. Kodak CEO Antonio M. Perez remains a member of the board.

    “Kodak is a company poised for growth. I look forward to providing leadership as the company realizes its potential as a technology company focused on the packaging, graphic communications, and functional printing markets,” said Continenza.

  • Report: J.C. Penney will hire 35K holiday workers

    Plano, Texas – J.C. Penney Co., Inc. will reportedly hire about 35,000 seasonal workers for the upcoming holiday season. According to Reuters, holiday workers will help perform tasks such as assisting customers and updating price signage.

    J.C. Penney also hired about 35,000 seasonal employees during the 2011 holiday season. The retailer did not release holiday hiring figures last year.

    eBay Enterprise, a leading global provider of commerce technologies, omnichannel operations and marketing solutions for retailers and brands, introduced its latest suite of commerce technologies at its annual client summit.

  • Glen Eagle Square welcomes three more new retailers

    Chadds Ford, Pa. — Three more new retailers have signed leases at Glen Eagle Square. Gap’s national women’s athletic wear brand Athleta, took 5,100 sq. ft. Pet Valu leased 3,200 sq. ft. and Not Your Average Joes, a casual American-style restaurant will occupy more than 7,200 sq. ft.

  • Mars North America’s Quinn to three-peat at Sweets & Snacks Expo

    Mars Chocolate North America has announced that Tim Quinn, VP of trade development, has agreed to chair the National Confectioners Association’s (NCA) 2014 Sweets & Snacks Expo for the third year in a row. 

    The expo is the largest venue representing all major U.S. distribution channels of candy and snack products in one location, attracting more than15,000 industry professionals from 90 countries in May 2013.

  • AutoZone Q4 profit up 14.7%

    Memphis -- AutoZone’s net income for the fourth quarter increased 14.7% to $371.2 million, below estimates. The chain also posted its 28th consecutive quarter of double digit growth in earnings per share.

    Revenue rose 12% to $3.1 billion, narrowly exceeding expectations. Domestic same-store sales disappointed with a 1% gain.
