  • Raley's, Aisle50 team up to offer loyalty-technology program

    Supermarket chain Raley's is teaming up with a web portal that offers discounts to members of the chain's loyalty card program.

    Aisle50 announced the partnership with the California-based chain, which will offer it at all its 120 Raley's Bel Air and Nob Hill Foods locations. Aisle50 works by allowing customers to purchase items online and then pick them up in the store, receiving discounts using their loyalty cards.

    New York -- Wolverine has opened its first permanent store, in New York City’s Nolita neighborhood.

    The store follows a successful pop-up the brand launched last fall. The brand; new location follows the successful New York pop-up venture in fall 2012, and will again offer a curated selection of goods that share Wolverine's commitment to quality, heritage and craftsmanship.

    Rockville, Md. — Divaris Real Estate has announced the sale of a net-leased Jiffy Lube on East Joppa Road in Parkville, Md. The 1,936-sq.-ft. building was purchased for $1,065,000 with a cap rate of 10%. Divaris handled the sale on behalf of but the buyer, Jiffy Joppa, and the seller, DLS Exchange Corp.

    It’s not what you see as much as what you don’t see that defines AT&T’s new store concept.

    Noticeably missing from the prototype, which debuted in La Grange, Ill., are traditional counters, checkout registers and printed signage. Instead, the 3,200-sq.-ft. store offers an inviting, modern and interactive environment that is focused on the customer experience.

    New York — Just Salad has leased a 1,434 sq. ft. ground floor space at 325 Hudson Street, a 10-store, 240,000-sq.-ft. building in the heart of New York City’s Hudson Square.

    New Street Realty Advisors represented Just Salad in lease negotiations with landlord Jamestown Properties.

     

  • Stater Bros. VP of real estate has passed away

    Stater Bros. has announced that VP of real estate Mike Slaton passed away suddenly on Saturday, Sept. 28. He was 51 years old.

    As a tribute to Slaton, the 44,000-sq.-ft. Stater Bros. supermarket that opened recently in Redlands, Calif., will be dedicated in his honor.
