    NEW YORK — JCPenney is inviting customers to make a difference this February by rounding up their purches to the nearest whole dollar and donate the difference to benefit Dress for Success, an organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

  • Levin names VP, CFO

    North Plainfield, N.J. -- Levin Management Corp. said that Timothy G. DeCola has been named VP and CFO of the company, replacing the retired Harold Harris.

    DeCola joins Levin from Pettinaro Construction Co., where he served as CFO. He will be responsible for all aspects of corporate finance and risk management at Levin for company-owned and managed properties as well as for real estate tax and financing reviews.

     

  • Ahold names head merchant

    NEW YORK — Ahold USA has named Mark McGowan as EVP merchandising. He will lead a merchandising team that supports Ahold USA and its four divisions: Stop & Shop New England, Stop & Shop New York Metro, Giant Landover and Giant Carlisle.

    McGowan had previously served as EVP supply chain for Ahold USA and previously led the Boston division of Stop & Shop.

  • Silicon Valley vet joins media solutions provider

    LIVONIA, Mich. — Valassis, a provider of intelligent media delivery, has hired Silicon Valley innovator Rajat Shroff as VP product development for Brand.net, a Valassis Digital Company.

  • Bayer Properties names VP asset management

    Birmingham, Ala. -- Bayer Properties said Tuesday that Scott Laslo has joined the company as VP asset management. 

    Laslo more recently served as VP/general manager and VP for Forest City Enterprises. His asset management role at Bayer will focus on value creation and oversight of the company’s growing portfolio of over 10 million sq. ft.
