  • Francesca’s names Limited veteran to board

    Houston – Francesca’ Holdings Corp. has appointed Martyn Redgrave as a member of the board of directors. Redgrave served as Limited Brands' executive VP and chief administration officer from March 2005 to August 2012 and also served as CFO from January 2006 to May 2007.

    Francesca's is adding a retail industry veteran to its board.

    The retailer has appointed Martyn Redgrave as a member of the board of directors. The appointment is effective immediately. Redgrave will serve on the audit committee and the nominating and corporate governance committee.

  • Instacart expands employee option

    San Francisco - Instacart  is expanding a program that lets some contract workers become part-time employees. The online grocery delivery service is now offering its contractor in-store shoppers in Houston and Austin, Texas, the option of applying for new employee roles with expanded responsibilities.

  • Ex-Staples exec named CEO of eBags

    The former head merchant for Staples has been named president and CEO of eBags Inc.

    The eBags board of directors appointed Mike Edwards as president, CEO and member of the board of directors effective immediately. He also joins the company as a new investor.

    Edwards most recently held the position of executive vice president of global merchandising for Staples Inc. 

  • Mavericks CEO jumps to Under Armour

    Baltimore –  An executive from the sports world is moving into the retail arena.

    Terdema L. Ussery II has joined Under Armour Inc. as president, global sports categories, effective Sept. 14, 2015. Ussery previously served as the president and CEO of the Dallas Mavericks NBA team for the past 18 years.

    In his new position, Ussery will be responsible for spearheading category management across all key brand and business units around the world to drive authenticity and connectivity with consumers.

  • Inland Securities Corporation names CEO

    Oak Brook, Ill. - Inland Securities Corporation, the exclusive dealer-manager and placement agent for real estate investment programs sponsored by Inland Real Estate Investment Corp. (“Inland Investments”) and Inland Private Capital Corp., announced that Michael T. Ezzell II has joined the company as CEO.
