  • Panera Bread to open at Market at Colonnade

    Raleigh, N.C. -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased restaurant space in Raleigh, N.C., at Market at Colonnade to Panera Bread.

    Panera has leased 4,000 sq. ft. and is slated to open in spring 2011.

    Market at Colonnade is a 57,511-sq.-ft. shopping center anchored by a 40,000-sq.-ft. Whole Foods Market.

  • Panera Bread opens at Columbus Center

    Columbus, Ind.  -- New York City-based Centro Properties Group announced that Panera Bread has opened a 4,100-sq.-ft. location at Columbus Center, in Columbus, Ind.

    Centro Properties Group is the owner of Columbus Center.

  • Atherton Mill and Market announces new tenants

    Charlotte, N.C. -- Columbia, S.C.-based Edens & Avant announced that Atherton Mill and Market will soon welcome several new tenants.

    Vin Master will open a 1,661-sq.-ft. wine concept retail store at Atherton Mill. In addition to its permanent retail location in Atherton Mill, Vin Master will also become the first permanent vendor at the Atherton Farmers Market, located at the center.

    Vin Master will open in first quarter 2011.

  • Just Salad to open in New York City

    New York City -- New Street Realty Advisors, LLC announced a lease transaction between Whitehall Properties II, LLC, the owners of The Caroline at 706 Avenue of the Americas, New York City, and Just Salad.

    The 3,000-sq.-ft. ground floor space is located on the east side of Sixth Avenue between East 22nd Street and East 23rd Street.

    Just Salad is slated to open in the spring.

    Just Salad currently has five locations in New York City and two locations in Hong Kong.

  • Chipotle to open new concept

    New York City -- Chipotle Mexican Grill founder, chairman and co-CEO Steve Ells is developing an Asian fast-casual concept that he expects to debut in mid-2011, according to Nation’s Restaurant News.

    The new concept will be similar in pricing to Chipotle, the report said.

    Ells said in a statement, “Since opening the first Chipotle some 17 years ago, I have often thought about how other types of food might fit the Chipotle model.”
