  • Smoothie King ‘Smooths’ Operations with Tablet-Based POS

     

    In a move to streamline operations at its 700-plus locations, Smoothie King Franchises Inc. is rolling out Revel Systems’ iPad POS solution across its entire store network. The company said it selected the Revel platform for its scalability, speed and user-friendly technology.

  • Jasper’s to make restaurant debut at CityLine mixed-use development

    Richardson, Texas --Real estate development and investment firm KDC announced that Chef Kent Rathbun’s Jasper’s “Gourmet Backyard Cuisine” concept will join CityLine, the company’s 186-acre mixed-use project in Richardson, Texas. The restaurant is scheduled to open in summer 2015.

    Dallas -- The Shops at Park Lane, Dallas, has inked deals with seven new retailers and restaurants, with openings slated for late 2014 and into spring of 2015.

  • Best Buy names Domino’s CEO Doyle to board

    Minneapolis -- Best Buy Co. Inc. has appointed J. Patrick Doyle, president and CEO of Domino’s Pizza, to its board of directors. Doyle, 51, joined Domino’s Pizza in 1997, serving in a variety of leadership roles across its domestic and international businesses, and has been president and chief executive officer of Domino’s since March 2010.   
  • Best Buy taps Domino’s CEO for board

    J. Patrick Doyle, president and CEO of Domino’s Pizza, has been appointed to the board of directors of Best Buy.  

    Doyle has joined Domino’s in 1997, serving in a variety of leadership roles across its domestic and international businesses. He has been president and CEO of Domino’s since March 2010.
