  • Yard House and Elephant Bar to open at Northridge Fashion Center

    Northridge, Calif. -- Two new restaurants will join the tenant lineup at Northridge Fashion Center, located in Northride, Calif. The center will also add an outdoor amphitheater.

    Scheduled to open late in fall 2012, Yard House and Elephant Bar will join the center's restaurant row, which already features California Pizza Kitchen, Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill, Claim Jumper and Romano's Macaroni Grill.

  • Simon and Bailian Group to develop a Premium Outlet Center in China

    Shanghai, China -- Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group, along with Chinese retail conglomerate Bailian Group, announced plans to jointly develop a branded Premium Outlet Center in Pudong, Shanghai, China.

    Simon Property Group is the world's largest developer, owner and operator of outlet shopping centers, with interests in 70 Premium Outlet Centers located in the United States, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

  • Sabre Real Estate names senior associate

    Garden City, N.Y. -- Sabre Real Estate Group said that Douglas Bomzer has joined the firm as a senior associate.

    Previously with Breslin Realty, where he specialized in retail tenant representation, Bomzer earlier was a residential real estate broker in the Franklin Square office of Prudential Douglas Elliman. His clients include Dots, Ulta, Maggiano’s, Chili’s, Pet Supplies Plus and Bolton’s.

  • Guess makes executive appointments

    Los Angeles -- Guess Inc. has appointed Chet Kuchinad as chief people officer and Amber Tarshis as senior VP marketing.

    Kuchinad joined Guess on Feb. 1. His experience also includes senior executive roles at Nike and Starbucks Coffee Co.

    Tarshis joined the company on Feb. 13. She most recently served as chief marketing officer for The Hub TV Network, a joint venture between Discovery Communications and Hasbro.

    Target for the first time this year was named to the annual listing of America’s Top Corporations for Women’s Business Enterprises compiled by the organization Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

  • Domino’s Pizza extends mobile offering with new app

    Ann Arbor, Mich. -- Domino's Pizza is launching its brand new Android smartphone ordering app. With the launch, and in addition to its existing iPhone app which debuted last June, Domino's will now offer its mobile ordering app to more than 80% of smartphones.

    The new app, which is compatible with Android version 2.1 and higher, extends many of the features of Domino's online ordering platform including: coupon search, full national menu, GPS store locator and the ability to follow orders with Domino's Tracker.

  • ODP, SPLS, TGT among top companies for women's enterprises

    Office Depot, Staples and Target were among the companies honored as America's Top Corporations for Women's Business Enterprises. Produced by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), this award recognizes corporations for world class programs that level the playing field for women's business enterprises (WBEs) to compete for corporate business, according to the council.
