Price Chopper and Market 32 have a new summer loyalty campaign.

Two regional grocery retailers are running an omnichannel summer program that includes enhanced loyalty points and gamification.

Market 32 and Price Chopper, both banners of Northeast Grocery Inc., are offering a seasonal promotion called “Summer Shines Here” through Labor Day (Sep. 1, 2005). 

Designed to drive customer loyalty, boost sales and deepen digital engagement, the campaign will include specials on season-appropriate grocery items, recipes for summertime meals, sweepstakes for the summer, digital support across owned and paid media, and a gamified bonus points experience.

A key component of the campaign is the “Summer Doubler,” which gives members of the Market 32 and Price Chopper AdvantEdge Rewards loyalty program the opportunity to earn double points on all qualifying purchases throughout the summer. 

In an effort to further boost engagement, the Summer Doubler also includes a gamified bonus points experience developed with Konekt.io where members can spin a digital carnival-style wheel twice over the summer, once at the campaign’s launch and again during a mid-summer pulse moment, to win 100 to 500 bonus points.

To start earning enhanced rewards, shoppers can join the AdvantEdge Rewards program for free by signing up for an AdvantEdge Card and activating the Summer Doubler via the Market 32 and Price Chopper app or website.
