GNC adds new online delivery partner

GNC is teaming up with Uber.

GNC customers have a new option for delivery of their online orders.

The health and wellness specialty retailer is partnering with Uber to enable customers to order GNC products directly through its Uber Eats online delivery platform and to utilize Uber for same-day delivery for orders placed via GNC.com.

This collaboration makes GNC the first health and wellness specialty retailer to leverage Uber Eats and Uber Direct hosted online delivery offerings. GNC customers can now order from a selection of GNC’s premium health and wellness products, including vitamins and supplements, through the Uber Eats app in all 50 states.

In additionally, the upcoming Uber Direct functionality will allow customers to purchase products directly from the GNC website and have them delivered by an Uber driver the same day, speeding up delivery times for orders placed by 2 p.m. local time. Orders placed after 2 p.m. local time via Uber Direct will be delivered the next day.

GNC is building upon existing online delivery functionality. The company launched same-day delivery in partnership with Shipt in 2021, and has been partnering with drone technology provider Zipline to offer a fully electric drone delivery option in select markets in the U.S. since summer 2023.

In addition, GNC partners with Ordergroove to deliver custom wellness products via monthly omnichannel subscription and membership offerings
