GNC kicks off same-day delivery

A specialty health-and-wellness retailer is introducing delivery of online orders in as little as one hour.

GNC, which has been bolstering its online shipping capability since summer 2019, is now partnering with Target-owned on-demand delivery platform Shipt to offer same-day online delivery nationwide. Shipt customers can select GNC in the Shipt app and website to order products including vitamins and supplements, beauty and skincare products, and fitness equipment.

GNC is the latest in a growing number of retailers outside Shipt’s core grocery/CPG vertical to offer same-day online delivery via the platform. Other examples from recent months include Build-A-Bear, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Best Buy.
