Sripad joins Bed Bath & Beyond from Ikea USA, where, from 2020 to 2022, he was chief digital officer, with responsibility for product, marketing, data, technology, and operations. He has also held leadership roles at Overstock, CNN Digital, The Weather Company, an IBM Business, and APN News and Media.
Danzig will be responsible for delivering brand preference across Bed Bath & Beyond, buybuy Baby, Harmon Face Values and Decorist banners through content that resonates with key customer and associate segments.
Sripad will be responsible for driving digital business across all banners through enhanced user experiences, digital-first strategies, customer-facing technology and capabilities, and commerce.
The new leaders join Bed, Bath & Beyond as it is in a multi-year transformation that includes revamping stores, focusing on e-commerce and adding more exclusive, or owned, brands. In April, the chain launched one of its biggest brand campaigns ever in a move to position itself as the leading authority in home goods.
