First Look: Swiss sports brand On continues U.S. store expansion

Located in the heart of Chicago’s Rush Street district (and just in time for the city’s marathon), On’s flagship spans 4,553 sq. ft. The store design pays homage to Chicago’s rich industrial and design history through its open gray ceiling, colorful walls and wood accents, all inspired by the city’s iconic bridges.
Outside of the shopping experience, the new On locations will also provide a place of connection and community to inspire movement, the company said. Both stores will host On’s popular weekly Run Club in addition to regular events, group runs and movement sessions with local partners and ambassadors.

In addition to New York and Chicago, On has stores in Los Angeles; Miami; Portland, Ore.; and Austin, Tex. The brand also operates stores in Europe and Asia.
