First Look: Kurt Geiger opens Miami boutique

A U.K.-based luxury brand has opened its fifth American storefront – in a major fashion hub.

Kurt Geiger, known for its footwear and accessories, has opened a new 2,102-sq.-ft. boutique at the Aventura Mall luxury shopping center in Miami. The store debuts following the success of the brand’s Orlando store, which opened in 2023. Kurt Geiger's other U.S. locations include New York City, Los Angeles and San Diego.

Earlier this year, the brand said that it planned to expand its presence in North America, opening 50 stores over the next five years.

The Miami location is built around a marquee design concept first unveiled at Kurt Geiger’s sprawling Oxford Street flagship in London (which also opened in 2023). Created by chief creative officer Rebecca Farrar-Hockley, the space features rainbow-hued glass in diamond and lattice formations, illuminated antique brass shelving, eccentric fringe details and a quintessential English floral print that plays across the interior. Scattered throughout are antiqued brass eagles, a signature emblem of the brand, combining traditional touches with a “modern, high-drama aesthetic.”
