First Look: Herman Miller opens new Virginia location
A furnishings brand known for its performance seating products is opening a new retail location on the East Coast.
Herman Miller has opened its latest store in Fairfax, Va., a suburb of Washington D.C., where guests can browse the brand’s collection of mid-century modern tables, chairs, office and home furniture, and more.
The 2,000-sq.-ft. store, in Fairfax's Mosaic District, provides complimentary design services and personalized help to help customers find the solutions right for them. Visitors can test and compare the different features of Herman Miller’s performance seating products, all backed by decades of ergonomic research and developed to support long-lasting, health-positive benefits, the company said.

Including the new Fairfax store, Herman Miller operates 21 locations in major markets across the United States, along with a store in both London and Paris.

Originally founded in 1905 as Star Furniture Co., Herman Miller products can be found at the brand’s partner retailer, Design With Reach, as well. Both are part of the MillerKnoll family of brands.
