Facebook integrates eBay, Poshmark into Marketplace listings
Facebook is expanding the inventory available on its third-party marketplace with links to two other major online sales platforms.
Earlier this year, Facebook began integrating eBay and Poshmark inventory into Faecbook Marketplace in an effort to give shoppers more options across categories like fashion and electronics.
Partner listings are marked with an icon on the listing image and are integrated throughout a shopper’s Marketplace feed so they will see them while browsing. Shoppers can also see the listing and seller’s information on the Marketplace product details page. To purchase an item, shoppers will be taken to the partner’s site for checkout.

Facebook is also upgrading Marketplace checkout, as well as introducing and piloting several new features as part of a "glow up" intended to evolve the Marketplace shopping and selling experience:
Improved checkout
Buyers will now see total costs of Marketplace purchases, including shipping and tax, upfront and receive notifications as order status changes.
Collections
A new Collections feature enables sellers to create groups of Facebook Marketplace listings and invite friends to join. Sellers can save a listing, start a new collection, and choose whether to make it public or private.
Once sellers add friends to their collection, they can share updates via methods including the Facebook feed and messenger tools, as well as the WhatsApp messaging app (owned by Facebook parent Meta).
Facebook is also testing collaborative buying so Marketplace shoppers can invite a friend to join their chat with the seller to help coordinate activities such as pickup, and price negotiation.
Personalization
Shoppers can now react and comment directly on Marketplace. And when shoppers like an item, Marketplace will learn what they are interested in so they will see more items aligned with your preferences, making their shopping experience more personalized and relevant.
AI insights
Facebook is also testing a new feature designed to make it easier for shoppers to ask the right questions when making a purchase on Marketplace. When shoppers start a chat with a seller, they will see a “Suggested questions to ask” button pop up. If they tap it, Meta AI will use the details from the listing and their conversation to suggest questions you might want to ask the seller.
In addition, Facebook is beginning to test a new AI-enabled feature intended to make buying cars easier and more informative. When shoppers visit a vehicle listing, they will see AI-based insights that can gather information such as engine options and safety ratings, as well as as transmission type, seating, cargo capacity, reviews, and price insights, all in one place.
Facebook plans to release more Marketplace updates in 2026 for both buyers and sellers.
