Exclusive: PetTee Apparel stays on top of budgeting and appointments
A custom pet clothing and accessories retailer is managing scheduling and financial tracking with a single solution.
PetTee Apparel, an omnichannel retailer which operates a brick-and-mortar store in Oak Forest, Ill. as well as a national e-commerce site, sells customizable products such as dog vests and jackets as well as accessories such as leashes, mats and chew toys.
The company utilizes the Bisi Blvd. technology platform to help maintain control of operations. scheduling and financial tracking. Takina De Lacy, owner of PetTee Apparel, recently discussed the company’s deployment of Bisi Blvd. software with Chain Store Age.
“I was really looking for something simple that could help me stay on top of appointments and make it easy to see where I stood financially,” De Lacy said in explaining her selection of the Bisi Blvd. platform. “I also wanted a calendar that was easy to use, affordable, and could give me a clear picture of my business numbers in real time.”
By combining scheduling and financial tracking tasks, de Lacy said Bisi Blvd. software enables her to see how much money is coming in, how she is doing with her goals, and where she needs to adjust, without having to move back and forth between a bunch of different tools.
De Lacy partially based her selection of the solution based on her personal acquaintance with Bisi Blvd. CEO and founder Noelle Curtis. "Noelle is the real deal — an expert through and through," said De Lacy.
According to De Lacy, she doesn’t yet have specific metrics for the software’s performance as PetTee Apparel is still a new business and she is still in the early stages of building awareness and scheduling boutique-style shopping events.
"I use the available features, but I haven’t had a chance to fully utilize the booking feature yet—though I definitely plan to as we build that part of the business,” De Lacy explained. "As my business continues to grow, I’m looking forward to exploring more of Bisi Blvd.’s features — especially any tools related to financial forecasting, scheduling, and financial goals."

Currently, De Lacy said PetTee Apparel is using the Bisi Blvd platform in a straightforward way, but she has plans to broaden its usage at her business.
“I can definitely see how expanding into some of the more advanced tools could help me streamline operations and stay organized as I scale,” De Lacy concluded.
