eBay hosting omnichannel Super Bowl celebration

eBay Super Bowl 2026
eBay is all in on the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl LX is taking place in eBay’s back yard, and the online giant is making the most of it.

This year’s Super Bowl, where the New England Patriots will have a record-setting 12th appearance in a championship rematch with the Seattle Seahawks, takes place in Santa Clara, Calif., a short drive from eBay’s headquarters city of San Jose.

Over the course of Super Bowl weekend (Feb. 6-8), eBay will celebrate the "Big Game" with in-person and online live shopping experiences, headlined by an immersive "eBay End Zone" pop-up and culminating with a community watch party finale.

Here are details of some of the events:

eBay End Zone

Open to the public in San Francisco’s Union Square and featuring appearances from NFL football stars like former New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski and current San Francisco 49er Christian McCaffrey, the eBay End Zone will feature collectibles and authenticated pre-owned fashion, as well as items designed by local illustrator and artist Jeremy Fish.

Customers attending the eBay End Zone will also have exclusive access to bid on tickets to the Super Bowl, starting at one cent with proceeds from the penny auction supporting the NFL Professional Athletes Foundation.

Select livestreams will broadcast directly from the End Zone via the eBay Live Big Game hub, including events hosted by Christian McCaffrey and GQ on Saturday at 12 p.m. PT, and Rob Gronkowski and Blez Sports Cards following at 1:30 p.m. PT.

eBay End Zone will be available at 71 Powell St., San Francisco, Friday, Feb. 6 – Saturday, Feb. 7, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. PT both days.

“For three decades, eBay has connected fans to the moments that define the big game, offering one of the most expansive selections of authentic inventory across teams, athletes, and styles,” said Emily O’Hara, global head of brand and media at eBay. “This year, eBay is bringing 60 years of football fandom and culture to life in a way no other platform can — offering unique live shopping experiences, the thrill of big wins, and unmatched selection — whether fans are on the ground at the game or watching from home across the country.”

Another Bay Area retail brand, Levi Strauss & Co., is hosting a series of fan-first experiences, dubbed Home Turf, across the area leading up to the game. This year’s Super Bowl is being played at Levi’s Stadium, which is sponsored by the company.

Founded in 1995 in San Jose, Calif., eBay Inc. operates in more than 190 global markets. In 2024, eBay enabled $75 billion of gross merchandise volume.
