DoorDash is gearing up for college football season — here's how

College football season has arrived, and a leading delivery platform is launching a new rewards program to celebrate.

DoorDash is introducing DoorDash Streaks, a new limited-time in-app rewards program where users can rack up discounts just by ordering on Saturdays. Once DoorDash users opt-in to DoorDash Streaks, they can order on any Saturday between Aug. 23 and Nov. 15 (“Saturday Order”) to unlock savings. The more Saturdays a user orders on, the bigger the promotion gets.

Each Saturday Order counts toward a total rewards streak. If a user hits 11 Saturday Orders throughout the season, they will score the biggest reward yet: $100 in bonus DoorDash credits added to their account.

Here’s the breakdown of DoorDash Streaks:

  • 1 order = 30% off a future order (up to $20 off)
  • 3 orders = 40% off a future order (up to $25 off)
  • 5 orders = 50% off a future order (up to $25 off)
  • 7 orders = 60% off a future order (up to $25 off)
  • 9 orders = 70% off a future order (up to $25 off)
  • 11 orders = 80% off a future order (up to $30 off) plus $100 in bonus DoorDash credits

In addition to the new promotion, DoorDash has teamed up with college athletics media and technology company Learfield and 11 NCAA football programs for a partnership that includes on-campus DoorDash gameday activations, joint student-athlete- and mascot-led social media campaigns, and a national sweepstakes designed to keep fans engaged all season long.

Not only is DoorDash an official sponsor of the iconic Allstate Red River Rivalry, the platform is also working with: The University of Alabama; University of Georgia; University of Michigan; University of Missouri; The Ohio State University; University of Oklahoma; University of Oregon; Rutgers University; Stanford University; University of Tennessee, Knoxville; and The University of Texas at Austin.

As part of the college football season promotions, DoorDash will head to some of the most anticipated matchups of the year, including:

  • Aug. 30: Texas at Ohio State
  • Oct. 10–11: Oklahoma vs. Texas in Dallas
  • Nov. 8: LSU at Alabama
  • Nov. 15: Texas at Georgia
  • Nov. 29: Ohio State at Michigan

Fans can expect giveaways, custom merch stations, and immersive photo booths designed to capture the thrill of game day. At Alabama and Texas, DashPass members will get exclusive access to the DashPass Express Lane, a priority entrance that makes getting into the stadium faster and easier.
