Dick’s Sporting Goods teams with Synchrony on rewards credit card

Dick's Sporting Goods has a new credit card program.

The nation’s largest sporting goods retailer is partnering with a leading consumer financing company to offer credit cards with loyalty rewards.

Dick’s Sporting Goods is relaunching its Dick’s Credit Card program in collaboration with Synchrony. The revamped offering features two credit card products: Dick’s Credit Card, a private label card that can be used exclusively across Dick’s Sporting Goods, Dick’s House of Sport, Golf Galaxy, Golf Galaxy Performance Center, Public Lands and Going Going Gone!; and the Dick’s Mastercard, which can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted. 

Both cards offer a new everyday 10% back in rewards on qualifying purchases at Dick’s and will remain integrated with the retailer’s Dick’s ScoreCard loyalty program. In addition to 10% off everyday qualifying purchases at Dick’s stores, the cards offer a $30 bonus reward for new cardholders after opening and using their new card at a Dick’s banner, automatic Gold status in the ScoreCard program after using a new card at a Dick’s store, and 1% back in rewards everywhere else Mastercard is accepted for the Dick’s Mastercard.

Existing cardholders don’t need to do anything; their accounts and ScoreCard rewards balances will automatically carry over. Customers interested in applying for a Dick’s credit card or Dick’s Mastercard can learn more at their local Dick’s banner store.
