The nation’s largest bridal retailer is personally engaging customers via their third-party mobile wallet apps.
David’s Bridal is partnering with mobile wallet marketing automation platform Popwallet to deliver connected and tailored promotions such as dynamic coupons, offers and rebates to its customers via mobile wallets like Apple Wallet and Google Pay.
"We have a smart, mobile-savvy, hyper-digital customer and she wanted ease, simplicity, and flexibility,” said Kelly Cook, chief marketing and IT officer, David’s Bridal. “This is another step in providing exactly what she wants. Popwallet allows us to deliver contactless consumer experiences and engage with her on a new channel, in a new way. So, no more printed signs or coupons that could be lost, we can now serve her the outstanding offers and deals she deserves directly to her smartphone."
"Mobile behavior is changing, and the smartphone is increasingly becoming the interface between people and the world around them," said Elias Guerra, founder and CEO of Popwallet. "Popwallet enables brands to be part of these experiences and we're so excited that David's Bridal has joined our reputable list of partners. We look forward to helping them not only drive commerce, but also loyalty and affinity amongst their customers."
David's Bridal’s partnership with Popwallet is its latest digitally-focused customer experience offering. The retailer also recently launched virtual stylist and appointment services, as well as a suite of digital wedding planning tools including a custom wedding vision board and a wedding checklist solution.
David's Bridal operates more than 300 stores across the US, Canada, U.K., and franchise locations in Mexico.
