Costco expands online DoorDash delivery to U.S.
Costco Wholesale Corp. continues offering customers new ways to place online delivery orders from local stores.
The membership warehouse club giant is now available on the DoorDash marketplace across the U.S., following partnerships with the online delivery platform in Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Iceland and Puerto Rico. Costco members can order from an assortment f more than 4,000 products including groceries, pantry staples, household essentials, electronics, seasonal merchandise and Kirkland Signature private label products from all the retailer’s stores nationwide through DoorDash for same-day delivery.
How it works
Costco members in the U.S. can open the DoorDash app, search for Costco and select their local store. When prompted, they can link an active Costco membership and complete their order.
Consumers who are not yet Costco members can follow a link to Costco.com to purchase a membership, then return to DoorDash and link their new account. Costco had previously ranked among the most-searched U.S. retailers not yet available on DoorDash.
“Costco members have been asking for Costco on DoorDash, and today we’re delivering,” said Mike Goldblatt, VP of enterprise partnerships at DoorDash. “By pairing Costco’s quality, value and selection with DoorDash’s reach and local delivery network, we’re giving members more flexibility in how they shop. The U.S. launch also marks the next chapter in a global partnership already serving Costco members around the world.”
Costco adds delivery partners
The retailer also just began offering online delivery via Uber Eats in 47 states, up from 17. Nearly 600 Costco locations are now available on Uber Eats for on-demand and scheduled delivery through the Uber Eats app. The retailer initially partnered with Uber Eats in 2021.

Costco is also available on Uber Eats in Canada, Mexico, Japan, Taiwan, France, and Spain. The retailer has also been collaborating with Instacart to offer same-day delivery from stores in the U.S. and Canada since 2020, expanding to Europe in 2026. Costco has been providing curbside pickup at select stores in partnership with Instacart since 2021.
Costco currently operates 939 warehouses, including 647 in the United States and Puerto Rico, 115 in Canada, 43 in Mexico, 37 in Japan, 29 in the United Kingdom, 20 in Korea, 15 in Australia, 14 in Taiwan, seven in China, five in Spain, three in France, two in Sweden, and one each in Iceland and New Zealand. Founded in 2013, DoorDash provides on-demand delivery services in 25 countries across the globe.
