  • Half Price Books to open at Fayette Place

    Lexington, Ky. – Tarrytown, N.Y.-based DLC Management Corp. sad that Half Price Books will open a new store at Fayette Place, located in Lexington, Ky.

    The 8,976-sq.-ft. junior anchor will join Marshalls, Shoe Carnival, Pier1 Imports, Outback Steakhouse and Dollar Tree in the neighborhood shopping center.

    It will be the second Half Price Books location in the Lexington community.
     

  • Big Lots opens anchor store in Stone Mountain, Ga.

    Tarrytown, N.Y. -- DLC Management Corp., which owns Stone Mountain Square in Stone Mountain, Ga., said Friday that Big Lots has opened a 26,355-sq.-ft. store at the shopping center.

    Big Lots co-anchors the center with Ross Dress for Less, T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, Dot’s and Anna’s Linens.
     

  • RECon 2012: Platform for talk of recovery

    Las Vegas -- As retailers and shopping center executives returned to their respective home bases following their biggest show of the year – RECon – they did so with talk of recovery echoing in their ears.

    This year’s event – the International Council of Shopping Centers’ RECon convention, held May 20-23 in Las Vegas – was a platform for discussions about expansion and freer capital, albeit tempered by what industry experts are calling a new discipline in the way we all do business.

  • DLC, Hutensky acquire Walmart Plaza

    Derby, Conn. -- DLC Management Corp. and Hutensky Capital Partners have announced a joint-venture acquisition of Walmart Plaza, a 199,393-sq.-ft. shopping center in Derby, Conn.

    Anchored by Walmart, Adams Hometown Market and CVS, the center adds to DLC’s Connecticut holdings of nine shopping centers and 1.4 million sq. ft.
     

  • DLC names acquisitions chief

    Tarrytown, N.Y. -- DLC Management Corp. announced that it has named Jonathan Wigser as chief investment officer, charged with leading all of the company’s acquisition and disposition activities.

    Since joining DLC in 2002, Wigser has been involved in the acquisition and disposition of more than $1.1 billion of retail real estate, in addition to raising more than $250 million of equity from institutional and high net worth investors.

  • Levin names leasing exec

    North Plainfield, N.J. -- Levin Management Corp. said Tuesday that Michael Cohen has joined the company as VP leasing.

    Cohen was previously executive VP and director of leasing for DLC Management Corp.

  • Walmart Market to debut near Atlanta

    Tarrytown, N.Y. – DLC Management Corp. announced a new deal signed with Wal-Mart Stores to open a 44,271-sq.-ft. Walmart Market at DLC’s Bethesda Walk Shopping Center in Lawrenceville, Ga.

    The deal, which was finalized on November 21, marks the grocery-only concept’s first store in the Atlanta metro area.

  • DLC signs four new anchor leases

    Tarrytown, N.Y. -- DLC Management Corp. said Tuesday that it has executed four new anchor deals over the last three-month period.

    In Jonesboro, Ga., PJS Market will open an 80,160-sq.-ft. retail mini-mall at Tara Crossing Shopping Center, in a space vacated just four months earlier. This is PJS Market’s second location in Metro Atlanta and is expected to open by the end of the year.
