    Oregon, a new market for CVS Health, is the latest market where Target pharmacies have been successfully transitioned to CVS Health, the Rhode Island pharmacy operator announced Wednesday. The new CVS pharmacies, located in several metropolitan areas, including Portland, Eugene and Medford, are being operated through a store-within-a-store format.

    CVS Health on Tuesday announced that the first CVS Pharmacy locations in Target stores are now open in Washington. 

  • MinuteClinic comes to Target stores in new state

    The CVS/Health-Target partnership continues to grow.

    MinuteClinic, the retail medical clinic of CVS Health, has opened eight new locations inside Target stores in Maryland, including six in the Baltimore metropolitan area. The clinics have been rebranded and converted to MinuteClinic. There are now 43 MinuteClinic locations in Maryland, including clinics in select CVS Pharmacy stores.

    Target Corp.’s ongoing recovery stalled a bit in the first quarter as the chain joined the list of retailers posting disappointing Q1 sales amid cool, unspring like weather and sluggish retail spending. But it was not all gloom and doom for the discounter, whose online sales continued their upward course and whose profit topped estimates.
  • CVS Pharmacy debuts across Utah Targets

    CVS Health on Thursday announced that the first CVS Pharmacy locations in Target stores are now open in Utah. The 13 pharmacies are being operated through a store-within-a-store format and are branded CVS Pharmacy.
