    The Children's Place has added Susan Sobbott to its board of directors as a Class II director to serve for a three-year term.

  • Children’s Place names American Express exec as director

    Secaucus, N.J. — The Children’s Place Inc. has named Susan Sobbott to the board of directors as a Class II director to serve for a three-year term expiring in 2017. Sobbott currently holds the position of president of Global Corporate Payments, a global division of the American Express Company. From 2004 to early 2014, she was President and General Manager of American Express Open. The addition of Sobbott expands the company's board of directors to eight.

  • Ex-Winn-Dixie CEO joins RPAI board

    Supermarket industry veteran Peter Lynch was named to the board of directors at Retail Properties of America (RPAI).

    The publicly held owner and operator of 227 properties encompassing 31.2 million square feet said Lynch’s extensive experience in the grocery industry would aid RPAI in its repositioning efforts.

  • Amex names contest winners of social media contest

    American Express has revealed the winners of its “Epic Everyday Getaway” contest. More than 7,000 Americans submitted snapshots and selfies along with a short story describing their favorite every moments with the aptly named hashtag #EveryDayMoments.

    Each winner and a guest will get their own “VIP” treatment when they head to New York June 18-21, for a three-day trip that includes:

    nGage Labs, a leading provider of personalized mobile engagement solutions, has named Kyle Hollaway as chief technology officer.

    As CTO, Hollaway will lead the nGage Labs Analytics Innovation team in developing real-time personalization analytics that differentiates the company's mobile customer engagement solutions. He leads an entire team of architects, analysts, modelers, and developers in continuing to create deeper levels of individual customer insights and actionable intelligence.

  • Walmart joins Amex prepaid Serve network

    American Express added Walmart’s U.S. network of 4,100 stores as locations where customers can participate in the card issuers prepaid Serve offering.

  • Miller-Zell names VP of digital innovation

    Atlanta -- Miller Zell has named James Warner VP of digital innovation, responsible for driving integrated experiences, digital brand engagements and relevant technology solutions into the overall shopper journey.

    Previously Warner worked with W3 Design, Momentum Worldwide and Moxie Interactive, where he led consumer-centric design and technology development for tier one retailers and global brands such as Coca-Cola, Nokia, Verizon, Red Bull North America, American Express, 20th Century Fox and Nike.

     

  • Coupons.com adds ability to load digital coupons to payment cards

    Mountain View, Calif. -- Coupons.com Inc. has released updates to the Coupons.com website and the Coupons.com mobile apps with a service that lets consumers add coupons directly to payment cards. Using the Coupons.com website or Coupons.com mobile apps for iOS and Android, shoppers can add digital coupons to their credit or debit cards from Visa, MasterCard or American Express for automatic redemption at checkout.
