Chopped Leaf is cloud-enabling its POS.

A fast-casual restaurant chain seeks to obtain better enterprise insight and decision-making capability as it prepares for growth.

Chopped Leaf, a banner of Innovative Food Brands, is deploying the cloud-based Oracle Simphony Cloud POS solution in an effort to integrate customer and operational data on a single, integrated platform.

As a result, Chopped Leaf intends to speed real-time reporting and make faster decisions to support efficiency and growth. The company also finds it can enable franchisees to more quickly on-board and train staff and deliver faster service.

Chopped Leaf, which focuses on fresh, customizable salads and bowls, is upgrading its POS as it plans to open 25 new locations in 2025.

"As a company looking to grow both across North America and internationally, modernization and consistent processes are crucial to ensuring we provide an efficient and exceptional dining experience at every location," said Genti Kongjika, executive VP, Innovative Food Brands (IFB). "The move to Oracle Cloud is part of our strategy to align technology with our ambitious business plans."
