C-Suite Moves: August update
•Victoria’s Secret & Co. appointed Hillary Super as CEO and a member of the board, succeeding the departing Martin Waters in both roles. Super joins Victoria’s Secret from Savage X Fenty — the billion-dollar, inclusive intimates and accessories brand launched by music megastar Rihanna — where she served as CEO since June 2023.
•Amy Tu was named chief legal and compliance officer and corporate secretary at Target Corp. She joins Target from Tyson Foods, where she served in multiple legal roles for over six years.
•Laxman Narasimha was ousted as CEO of Starbucks Corp. after less than two years on the job. He was replaced by Brian Niccol, CEO and chairman of Chipotle Mexican Grill, which named Scott Boatwright, COO, as interim CEO.
•Party City Holdco Inc. named Barry Litwin as president and CEO, succeeding Sean Thompson who has served as interim CEO since Brad Weston resigning shortly after the chain emerged from bankruptcy.
•Eva Erdmann was appointed CEO and brand president of Kate Spade, and will join the company in October following the departure of Liz Fraser. Erdmann joins Kate Spade from L’Oréal where she served as the global president of Urban Decay Cosmetics since 2018, and spent more than 15 years at the company overall.
