C-Suite Moves: April update

Here are the major C-suite changes that occurred in April, in the order they were announced. (All changes have already taken effect unless otherwise noted.) 

  • National Vision Holdings Inc. has appointed Alex Wilkes as its next chief executive, effective Aug. 1. He succeeds longtime CEO Reade Fahs, who will assume the role of executive chairman of the board.
  • Roxanne Weng has been named chief supply office of Dollar Tree. She succeeds Mike Kindy, who is retiring. Weng has more than 30 years of retail operational leadership experience with the majority of her career at Walgreens.
  • Jersey Mike's Subs tapped a 30-year industry veteran Charles Morrison as chief executive. He succeeds Peter Cancro who is stepping down as chief executive 50 years after acquiring the company's first location in 1975.
  • Ahold Delhaize USA has promoted two employees to new C-suite roles. The parent company of Food Lion, Giant Food, The Giant Company, Hannaford and Stop & Shop named Sanja Krajnovic as chief supply chain officer and Keith Nicks as chief commercial and digital officer.
  • Heritage Grocers Group appointed Frank Ingraffia, CEO of its Tony’s Fresh Market banner, to the role of chief transformation officer.
  • Amber Minson will join Sleep Number Corp. as executive VP and chief marketing officer. Most recently, she served as chief marketing officer of Casper Sleep Inc. under a contract agreement.

  • Ulta Beauty tapped Lauren Brindley as chief merchandising and digital officer. She succeeds Monica Arnaudo, who is retiring. Brindley joins Ulta from make-up brand Revolution, where she served as CEO since September 2023. Prior to that, she spent more than seven years at Walgreens as the group VP of beauty and personal care.
  • The longtime CEO of PGA Superstore, Dick Sullivan, will retire from his CEO role with the company later this summer. A global search for a new CEO has begun.
  • Yuji Okumura, interim CFO of luxury apparel retailer Vince Holding Corp., since March 2025, has been named to the role on a permanent basis.
  • Joel Yashinsky was named chief marketing officer of Burger King. Yashinsky has served as chief marketing officer at Applebee’s since 2018.
  • Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii named Iain Douglas as chief brand officer, a new role for the company. Most recently, he served as chief marketing officer at Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits.
  • QVC Group named Tony Williams as chief people officer. Williams most recently served as the senior VP of global human resources, transformation enablement & regions at The Estée Lauder Companies.
  • Alberto Toni was appointed CFO of Guess. Most recently, he was  group managing director and chief financial officer of international design company Flos B&B Italia Group S.p.A.
  • Macy’s Inc. tapped Thomas J. Edwards as COO and CFO, effective June 22. He will succeed Adrian Mitchell, who joined Macy's as CFO in 2020, with the COO title added in March 2023. Edwards is the CFO and COO of Capri Holdings Ltd., parent company of Michael Kors.
