C-store chain Rutter’s modernizes store operations with NCR Voyix
Rutter’s is unifying store, food service and fuel pump workflows at the POS.
The Mid-Atlantic convenience store retailer is deploying the full suite of NCR Voyix Commerce Platform applications, including Voyix POS for CFR, Voyix Kitchen, and the Voyix Connect payment gateway solution.
"At Rutter’s, innovation has always been at the core of how we serve our customers and operate our business," said Scott Hartman, president and CEO, Rutter’s. "As consumer expectations continue to evolve, we are investing in technology to create a more seamless and personalized experience across customer touchpoints. NCR Voyix has been a trusted partner for more than 20 years, and we are excited to build on this relationship as we continue to elevate the customer experience."
Utilizing Voyix POS for CFR, Rutter’s will be able to accept all major commercial fleet payment methods, including Corpay, WEX and Voyager fleet cards. The retailer hopes this will further streamline operations across its entire store footprint.
Under this agreement, Rutter’s will also adopt NCR Voyix managed and field support services. The retailer intends to create a foundation for delivering exceptional customer experiences while establishing an integrated technology platform to accelerate innovation and support future growth.
"We are very proud to expand our relationship with Rutter’s, an operator that has consistently set the standard for customer experience and operational excellence for more than a century," said James G. Kelly, President and CEO, NCR Voyix. "Our Voyix Commerce Platform applications will enhance Rutter’s ability to unify operations across retail, fuel and foodservice and support continued innovation, ultimately creating exceptional experiences for consumers and enhancing business outcomes.”
Travel center operator Pilot is also implementing retail and commercial fuel solutions from NCR Voyix, as well as a microservices architecture to streamline and support store operations. Pilot hopes to create a seamless, standardized platform for core store operations and enable consistent software delivery across locations, as well as obtain greater operational resilience.
