  • CB Richard Ellis to provide real estate services to UPS

    Los Angeles -- CB Richard Ellis Group said Wednesday that the United States Postal Service (USPS) has awarded CB Richard Ellis a contract to serve as its exclusive provider of strategic corporate real estate solutions nationally.

    CB Richard Ellis will provide transaction management services for USPS, including leasing and disposition. USPS’s portfolio consists of approximately 35,000 facilities, totaling over 300 million sq. ft.

  • Two retailers to join Fairview Corners

    Simpsonville, S.C. -- Centro Properties Group US announced two retailers will be joining Fairview Corners, located in Simpsonville, S.C.
     
    Wild Oats Brewery will occupy a 4,556-sq.-ft. space; Upstate Gold Exchange will occupy a 1,500-sq.-ft. space.
     
    Centro Properties Group, based in New York City, is the owner of Fairview Corners.
     

  • Englewood Construction completes five retail projects

    Chicago -- Englewood Construction, announced it has completed construction on five retail projects in the Chicago and Washington, D.C., regions.

    In the Chicago area, the firm finished construction of a 21,654-sq.-ft. Hhgregg store in Joliet, a 33,115–sq.–ft. Sears outlet in Naperville and a Mrs. Fields/TCBY Yogurt at Westfield Old Orchard shopping center in Skokie.
     

  • Regency Centers leases 15,000 sq. ft. to six new tenants in Austin

    Austin, Texas -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased 15,000 sq. ft. of retail space in Austin, Texas, to six new tenants.

    Pure Barre opened a 1,750-sq.-ft. studio at North Hills Town Center, bringing the center to 100% occupancy.

  • Regency leases 8,600 sq. ft. to four new tenants in Houston market

    Houston -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased 8,600 sq. ft. of retail space in Houston to four new tenants.

    In The Woodlands, Zoës Kitchen leased 3,018 sq. ft. at Sterling Ridge Village Center, bringing the center to 100% occupancy.  The restaurant is slated to open in December. Optometry office Woodland’s Eye Center leased 2,019 sq. ft. for an October opening at Indian Springs Center, bringing the center to full occupancy.

  • Lululemon athletica to open at Town Center at Boca Raton

    Boca Raton, Fla. — Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group announced Monday that lululemon athletica will grand-open a new store at Town Center at Boca Raton on July 22.

  • Two new leases signed at Ashburn Farm Market Center

    Ashburn, Va. — Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said Mathnasium and Zinga Frozen Yogurt have leased space at Ashburn Farm Market Center, located in Ashburn, Va.

    Mathnasium has leased 1,529 sq. ft. and Zinga has leased 2,264 sq. ft. Both businesses are slated to open in September, bringing the center to 100% leased.

    The 91,900-sq.-ft. shopping center is anchored by a 49,000-sq.-ft. Giant, alongside national retailers, such as Starbucks, Subway, Domino’s Pizza and Supercuts.

  • GNC to open at at Twin Oaks Shopping Center

    Aguora Hills, Calif. -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased space in Aguora Hills, Calif. to GNC, which will open a new store at Twin Oaks Shopping Center.

    GNC has leased 1,050 sq. ft., bringing the center to 97% leased.  The tenant is slated to open for business in fall 2011.  

    Aguora Hills, a 98,399-sq.-ft. shopping center, is anchored by Ralphs, alongside RadioShack, Rite Aid, Wells Fargo Bank and Starbucks.
