  • Buckeye Hall of Fame Grill opens at Grandview Yard

    Columbus, Ohio -- Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide Realty Investors said Tuesday that the Buckeye Hall of Fame Grill at Grandview Yard opened on Nov. 23 near the Ohio State University campus and downtown Columbus.

    The 8,000-sq.-ft. restaurant features a full menu, a “Film Room” featuring a 140-in. projection screen and stage, more than 100 pieces of Ohio State Buckeye sports memorabilia and an outdoor patio.

  • Water Mart to open at Orange Grove Village

    Tucson, Ariz. -- Commercial Retail Advisors said Tuesday that water purification retailer Water Mart has signed a lease for a new store in Orange Grove Village, in Tucson, Ariz.

    The retailer is relocating from its current site in the local Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market Center to the new 1,200-sq.-ft. space.

    The new store is slated to open in mid-December.

  • X Team partner arranges sale of Downtown Pleasant Hill

    Pleasant Hill, Calif. -- X Team International said Tuesday that Walnut Creek, Calif.-based partner John Cumbelich & Associates arranged the sale of Downtown Pleasant Hill, a 345,687-sq.-ft. community shopping center in Pleasant Hill, Calif.

    Downtown Pleasant Hill is anchored by Century Theatres, Lucky Supermarket, Bed Bath & Beyond, Ross Dress For Less, Michaels and Borders.

    The buyer was Walnut Creek-based Loja Group, and the seller was a joint venture between Prudential and Developers Diversified Realty.

  • Ramsey acquires part of Palm Springs Marketplace

    Palm Springs, Calif. -- La Jolla, Calif.-based Ramsey Real Estate Group announced that it has acquired a 10,550-sq.-ft. building that is a portion of Palm Springs Marketplace in Palm Springs, Calif.

    The acquisition was made by Ramsey Real Estate Group’s The Shops at Palm Springs Marketplace, LP. The firm paid $1.15 million for the property.

    Palm Springs Marketplace is a Stater Bros.-anchored community shopping center with a tenant mix of Arco, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, AutoZone, Dollar Tree, Dairy Queen and Kaiser Permanente.

  • Aarron’s Furniture to open at Christina Crossing

    Wilmington, Del. -- Philadelphia-based Michael Salove Co., an X Team partner, said Tuesday it has completed a lease transaction with Aarron’s Furniture Rentals at Christina Crossing, located in Wilmington, Del.

    Aarron’s will occupy 6,705 sq. ft. and is slated to open March 2011. Existing tenants include Shop Rite, Wine & Spirits, Cricket Wireless, Hibachi Sushi and Supreme Buffet.

  • Isabella to open new restaurant

    Washington, D.C. - Douglas Development announced that Mike Isabella, former executive chef at Mediterranean restaurant  Zaytinya, and Bravo’s Top Chef  contestant, has leased 5,000 sq. ft. in a three-level Douglas Development-owned property at 707 6th Street, NW, in Washington, D.C.

    Isabella will open a two-level Italian-inspired restaurant, Graffiato, in spring 2011.
