  • Newegg kicks off Black November

    Newegg, a leading electronics-focused e-retailer in the U.S., has kicked off this year’s Black November shopping event. The online retailer first unveiled Black November in 2010.

    The company will be offering exclusive deals on the first four days of Black November across 60 categories, including computers, electronics, automotive, sporting goods and jewelry.

  • Six:02, Stamford, Conn.

    Fashion and fitness come together at Six:02, a  new retail format from Foot Locker. Designed for young, active women, the store offers on-trend athletic apparel, footwear and accessories in a stylish, inviting environment.

    The store has a loft-like residential feel, with nesting tables, furniture-inspired fixtures and hardwood floors that reflect the customer’s sense of style while making her feel right at home.   

  • Lay's to roll out chocolate-covered potato chip

    Lay's will be introducing Lay's Wavy Potato Chips Dipped in Milk Chocolate next week, according to a report from USA Today.

    The chips, priced at $3.49 for a 5-oz. bag, will only be sold at Target for a limited time through the holidays. If the product is successful it could become a permanent fixture on store shelves, according to Ram Krishnan, VP marketing at Frito-Lay.

  • Neiman Marcus teams up with 3D printing company in holiday offer

    New York -- Neiman Marcus and 3D printing marketplace Shapeways have teamed together to offer a limited holiday collection.

    The collection consists of two pieces available in Shapeways’ 3D Printed metal finishes: A monogrammed silver heart pendant necklace that can be customized with initials, and an orb stainless steel sculpture paperweight. Both items are made by Shapeways' 3D Printing and feature its prin.

  • P&G thanks moms, builds brands with Olympics

    Procter & Gamble, a Worldwide Olympic Partner, kicked off the company’s Thank You Mom campaign with its Raising an Olympian series featuring Olay athlete Lindsey Vonn (United States), Gillette athletes Felix Neureuther (Germany) and Sven Kramer (Netherlands) and Pantene athlete Elena Ilinykh (Russia).

    The launch of the Thank You Mom campaign marks 100 days to go until the start of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games and is supported by more than 15 P&G brands around the globe such as Pampers, Head & Shoulders and Covergirl.

  • RadioShack opening ‘retro’ store in Fort Worth, Texas

    Fort Worth, Texas – RadioShack has pulled out all the stops for its new hometown location in Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth, Texas, opening a retro-styled store that speaks to the heritage of the brand and locale. Set to open Oct. 30, it will be the tenth RadioShack concept store to open nationwide, but the first to feature a custom design.

  • New product launches boosts Colgate volume growth in Q3

    Colgate-Palmolive announced that during the third quarter, new product launches in the United States contributed to volume growth across categories and market share gains were seen in categories such as manual toothbrushes, powered toothbrushes, mouthwash and body washes.

  • Tiffany’s relaunches e-commerce site

    New York – Tiffany & Co. is relaunching its Tiffany.com e-commerce site. The site includes enhanced zoom capabilities and several expanded sections.

    Blue Book, the company’s collection of couture jewels, is showcased with scenes from the Tiffany Workshop where they are created, as well as an expanded engagement section with a gemologist’s video and review of Tiffany’s quality standards.
