    Target is stepping up its efforts to attract new parents to its stores with a new partnership, educational classes and a social media campaign.

    Bump Club and Beyond, the nation's largest social event network for new moms, is partnering with Target to present a national series of events designed to help expectant and new parents learn the "basics" of bringing up baby.

    Customers can visit the Facebook page of either retailer to claim an offer, as well as visit a store to receive a buy-one-get-one-free promotion.

    Lowe’s is teaming up with a key supplier to engage a new generation of shoppers with a multifaceted initiative that involves in-store and social media elements.

    Tool manufacturer Dremel will be offering a series of in-store clinics at Lowe's to help families design and build a race-worthy Pinewood Derby Car. With the help of Dremel tools and accessories, participants will learn how to create a winning derby car without an elaborate set of tools.

  • Sam’s Club continues its version of Affordable Care Act

    While Obamacare remains a contentious issue, Sam’s Club has quietly administered free health tests to nearly one million people and plans to continue its ambitious screening program in 2015.

    The first of the monthly screening events takes place Jan. 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sam’s Club 598 locations that contain a pharmacy. Ten screening events are planned for the remainder of the year and held on the second Saturday of each month.

    Rite Aid wants to ring in the New Year with more sales and is counting on a generous new seasonal savings and rewards initiative.

    The company has announced it is offering its wellness+ loyalty program members the opportunity to receive lifestyle and entertainment rewards for every $50 spent in stores on participating products now through Jan. 24.

    Camp Hill, Penn. - Rite Aid is ringing in the New Year by offering members of its wellness+ loyalty program the opportunity to receive lifestyle and entertainment rewards for every $50 spent in stores on participating products through Jan. 24. To participate in a promotion Rite Aid is calling “Happy You Year,” members of the wellness+ loyalty program can look for the red "Buy & Earn" symbol on store shelves. 
  • Tractor Supply campaign yields $763K for 4-H

    Tractor Supply Company has strengthened its partnership with the National 4-H Council by taking in $763,283 for the organization during a 10-day national in-store fundraiser.

    With the $1.5 million Tractor Supply raised during spring and fall campaigns, Tractor Supply has now donated nearly $6.5 million to 4-H programs across the country in just over four years.
