  • Hy-Vee helps fight cancer, childhood obesity with kids' triathlons

    Hy-Vee has partnered with the Pinky Swear Foundation to sponsor several Hy-Vee Pinky Swear Kids Triathlons in cities across the Midwest. The partnership will help with the foundation’s efforts to raise funds and awareness for the families of children who are suffering from cancer.

    Hy-Vee is collaborating with the foundation to bring youth triathlons to several of the communities it serves. In summer 2016, races will be held in Des Moines, Minneapolis, Chanhassen, Omaha, the Quad Cities and Kansas City.

  • Uniqlo looking to ‘Master’ sportswear retail

    When the Masters golf tournament gets underway next week one of the sport’s highest profile players will be sporting apparel co-created with Uniqlo.

    The global fast fashion retailer teamed up with Australian golf Adam Scott to develop and help promote a line of affordable sportswear including pants and shirts. Scott won the Masters in 2014 and is heading into the high profile tournament scheduled for April 7-10 among the favorites.

  • Momofuku to be part of Manhattan Seaport transformation

    New York -- The Howard Hughes Corp. announced that The Momofuku Group will open a new restaurant concept in the revitalized Seaport District in Lower Manhattan.

  • Uniqlo, London

    Uniqlo has completely revamped its flagship on Oxford Street in London, doubling the space from approximately 12,055 sq. ft. to 24,100 sq. ft. and adding two additional floors, along with a rooftop venue for special events.

    Designed in collaboration with the retailer’s longstanding, Tokyo-based design firm, Wonderwall, the store includes such signature Uniqlo accents as LED tickers and rotating mannequins.

  • TopGolf signs lease for first northeast location

    Edison, N.J. -- X Team International announced that partner, Welco Realty has completed a 65,000 sq. ft. lease on behalf of Hartz Mountain Industries for the first northeast location of Topgolf, which will join Edison Towne Square in Edison, New Jersey.

    Topgolf will be a stand-alone venue as part of a larger retail development for Edison Towne Square, which is situated on the site of the former Ford Motor plant located one mile south of the intersection of the NJ Turnpike and I-287. The venue is slated to open between fall 2016 and winter 2017.

  • CityCenter enters into agreement to sell The Shops at Crystals in Las Vegas

    Las Vegas -- CityCenter Holding -- a venture between MGM Resorts International and Infinity World Development Corp. -- announced that it has entered into an agreement with a venture led by Invesco Real Estate and Simon Property Group to acquire The Shops at Crystals in Las Vegas, for a purchase price of approximately $1.1 billion.

  • Apple opens next-generation store

    Apple has take the wraps off its hotly anticipted next-generation store, which is located at the Shops of Saddle Creek South in Germantown, Tennessee, a suburb of Memphis.

    The space features a massive display screen that stands nearly floor-to-ceiling at the wall opposite the store's all-glass entrance, reported AppleInsider.
