    ChannelAdvisor, a leading provider of cloud-based e-commerce solutions, has appointed Judith Barnett as VP of human resources.   • Moe’s Southwest Grill enters California market

    Atlanta — Moe’s Southwest Grill has signed a deal to bring 18 new restaurants to Sacramento and Santa Cruz over the next seven years. This is the franchiser’s first push into California.

    HKM II is the franchise group behind the California expansion. HKM II owns 42 quick-serve burger restaurants throughout Northern California, Southern Nevada and Arizona.

    Christine Day is going from CEO of Lululemon to CEO of healthy food brand Luvo.

    In an effort to expand its service capabilities, Lowe's has partnered with Porch.com, a home improvement network that connects homeowners with over 1.5 million professionals.

    The partnership aims to connect customers with home improvement pros for nearly any project outside of what Lowe's currently offers as part of its installation services.

  • Hain Celestial expands brands portfolio with acquisition

    The Hain Celestial Group, an organic and natural products company, has acquired Tilda Limited, a Basmati and specialty rice products company. Tilda brand's portfolio includes more than 60 dry rice and ready-to-eat products under the names Tilda, Akash Basmati and Abu Shmagh.

  • Target continues to cope with data hacking

    Target is investing $5 million in a coalition of cyber-security organizations to launch a marketing campaign to educate the public about phishing scams and security.

    The coalition includes the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance, the National Cyber Security Alliance and Better Business Bureaus.

    "Cyber-security is fast becoming one of the biggest marketplace challenges for businesses and a huge concern for their customers," Council of Better Business Bureaus president and CEO Mary Power said.
