BJ’s adds new items to same-day delivery assortment
BJ’s Wholesale Club Inc. is letting customers order a wider variety of goods online for same-day delivery.
The warehouse club retailer is partnering with Roadie, a UPS company, to expand its same-day delivery service to include big-ticket items. BJ’s members in participating ZIP codes are now able to order products like patio sets, grills and TVs online with delivery the same day for a fee.
According to BJ’s, it purposely launched its expansion of same-day delivery capabilities in time for summer celebrations.
BJ’s has offered a number of online delivery options for several years, but previously focused on delivering grocery and CPG items. This includes grocery delivery via DoorDash and the DoorDash Drive white-label direct fulfillment platform, as well as same-day delivery of groceries as well as liquor (in select ZIP codes) with Instacart.
In addition, BJ’s offers Same-Day Select, a paid subscription add-on to its existing same-day delivery service, across all stores. And a program called BJ’s Stocked delivers essential products in two days. Eligible items include canned and packaged food, candy and cookies, health and beauty, cleaning, and baby and kids.

"By expanding this service we’ve made it even easier for busy families to do their one-stop shopping at BJ’s. We do the heavy lifting, and members can enjoy their savings – and their patio sets – hassle-free."
Headquartered in Marlborough, Mass., BJ’s introduced the membership warehouse club model to New England in 1984 and currently operates 244 warehouse club stores and 176 BJ's Gas locations in 20 states. Roadie provides local same-day delivery across the U.S. and has been a UPS company since 2021.
