Through July 13, customers can bring any Bed Bath & Beyond coupon to participating Bed Bath & Beyond + The Container Store and Kirkland's Home locations nationwide.

Bed Bath & Beyond is giving customers who held on to the chain’s iconic 20%-off blue-and-white coupons for years a chance to redeem them.

The home goods retailer is launching a 21-day event, billed as the “Legendary Coupon Hunt.” Running June 22 through July 13, the promotion is designed to uncover the oldest surviving Bed Bath & Beyond coupon in America while giving customers the chance to enter a contest to win a $100,000 home transformation.

Through July 13, customers can bring any Bed Bath & Beyond coupon to participating Bed Bath & Beyond + The Container Store and Kirkland's Home locations nationwide. The retailer said it doesn’t matter if the coupons are expired, faded or decades old — every coupon will be honored. (Bed Bath & Beyond stopped accepting the extremely popular coupons in 2023 when it filed for bankruptcy and closed its stores. The retailer brought the coupons back in 2025 when it started opening stores under its new owners.)

In addition, every coupon will be entered for a chance to win the $100,000 home transformation grand prize. Additional prizes of $500 gift cards will be awarded to 100 winners and $100 gift cards awarded to 50 winners.

"For decades, our customers treated these coupons like treasure," said Amy Sullivan, president of Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. "They tucked them into purses, filing cabinets, cookbooks and memory boxes because they believed they would be valuable someday. We think they were right. The Legendary Coupon Hunt is our way of celebrating the customers who helped build this brand while creating one of the biggest customer events in our history."

The winner of the $100,000 grand prize will have the opportunity to reimagine nearly every room in their home with products, inspiration and solutions from Bed Bath & Beyond Inc.'s namesake banners as well as its other brands, including The Container Store; Kirkland’s, Lumber Liquidators and Cabinets To Go.

The coupon event  will be amplified through a national media partnership with iHeartMedia, social creators, national press outreach and Bed Bath & Beyond's social and digital channels, “creating a coast-to-coast search for forgotten coupons and giving customers a reason to reconnect with the brand they grew up with,” the company said.
