Anine Bing provides store associates with mobile enterprise view

A digitally native specialty retailer is seamlessly connecting brick-and-mortar employees with digital data.

Anine Bing is launching the cloud-based NewStore omnichannel platform. The solution enables store associates to perform tasks such as checkout, clienteling, “endless aisle” order fulfillment, and inventory management via iPhone.

Anine Bing store employees have mobile access to customer, order and inventory information, in a single view and from a unified source. On the front end, mobile POS functionality enables store associates to process in-store and endless aisle transactions anywhere on the store floor. They can also see clienteling data, including a customer's past purchase history across channels and countries.

Associates can also fulfill endless aisle and buy-online-pick-up-in-store (BOPIS) orders, manage inventory to support weekly product drops, and manage omnichannel orders to intelligently route fulfillment requests to distribution centers and stores. NewStore apps are currently deployed in all of Anine Bing’s 15 global flagship stores.

"NewStore makes it possible for us to provide an amazing customer experience while making things easier for our store associates. We are able to do everything from product receiving and inventory cycle counts to clienteling and mobile checkout for endless aisle orders all on an iPhone," said Erin McArthur, retail director, Anine Bing.

Another fashion-focused brand, Diane von Furstenberg (DVF), plans implement the NewStore omnichannel platform in its retail stores globally later in 2020. DVF will implement all NewStore omnichannel platform solutions, including applications for endless aisle, clienteling, store fulfillment, inventory management, mobile checkout, and omnichannel insights. The platform will complement its existing Salesforce Commerce Cloud-based e-commerce business.

Anine Bing was founded on Instagram in 2012 by social influencer and chief creative officer Anine Bing and her husband and CEO Nicolai Bing. The brand now operates 15 flagship brick-and-mortar stores and is sold in more than 350 boutiques across the globe.
