Walmart teams up with Dolly Parton for Cyber Monday livestream
In addition, Parton assisted Walmart’s efforts to provide relief to victims of the September 2024 Hurricane Helena disaster in her home state of Tennessee.
"We’re thrilled to provide our customers with this fun, festive way to shop the things they love from Dolly Parton at Walmart," said Walmart director of brand experiences & partnerships Justin Breton. "Livestream shopping is the perfect format to be entertained and inspired while shopping this holiday season."
Parton also has previous experience participating in livestream shopping events hosted on the TalkShopLive platform. In June 2024, she took part in shoppable livestreams broadcast on TalkShopLive and other platforms to help promote the CMA Fest country music festival.
The livestreams offered official CMA Fest merchandise, music, and products from the participating performers, as well as the opportunity to donate to the non-profit CMA Foundation.
"TalkShopLive has been powering Walmart’s live commerce initiatives since 2021 and this special Cyber Monday event marks the seventh time Dolly has chosen TalkShopLive as her live commerce partner,” said TalkShopLive co-founder and CEO Bryan Moore. “Through TalkShopLive’s unique video player, fans will have the opportunity to watch one of the world’s biggest stars while shopping her exclusive products.”
