Trader Joe’s to open 30 stores across 16 states — here’s the complete list
Trader Joe’s continues to grow its footprint in new and existing markets across the country.
The popular grocer has added more new locations to the “coming soon” page on its website. The page now lists the locations of 30 stores Trader Joe’s plans to open across 16 states, ranging from California to New York. The opening dates for the stores have not yet been announced with the exception of two: Anaheim Hills, Calif., and West Jordan, Utah. Both are opening this week.
Trader Joe’s, which took the top spot in the American Customer Satisfaction Index’s 2026 supermarket rankings, has been steadily expanding its store network in recent years. In May, it listed the locations of 25 upcoming store locations, some of which have already opened.
