Trademark Property Company has added a major property to its management portfolio.

The firm has been selected by Morgan Stanley to assume management, leasing and operations at Atlantic Station, the 138-acre mixed-use retail district in Atlanta. First opened in 2005, retail tenants at Atlantic Station include H&M, LA Fitness, Nike Unite, Old Navy, Pandora, Regal Cinemas, Sephora, Victoria's Secret, Yard House and more.

The property is also home to 2 million square feet of Class-A office space, two full-service hotels, multiple apartments, lofts and luxury condo residences, as well as freestanding Ikea, Target and Dillard's. Atlantic Station continues to add to its retail and dining lineup, with Nordstrom Rack, Gocha's All Day on the Atlantic Green, Playa Bowls and Busy Bee Café all recently announced as new additions.

"Our first step is listening and understanding the community," said Terry Montesi, founder and CEO of Trademark. "We will thoroughly evaluate the property's strengths and opportunities to bring this iconic destination to the next level."

Trademark has hired a seasoned general manager, Sean McIntosh, to oversee management and operations of the Atlantic Station's 585,590-sq.-ft. retail footprint. McIntosh has more than 30 years of experience managing top retail assets, having spent a decade at GGP before joining Atlantic Station as assistant general manager from 2006 to 2013.

Trademark will also hire a senior asset manager based in Atlanta, furthering the company's local presence and oversight of the property.

"It's an honor to return to this incredible community," McIntosh said. "We are committed to making this a seamless transition and will build on the strong foundation already in place."

Fort Worth, Texas-based Trademark has invested in, developed or redeveloped 24 million square feet of mixed-use, multi-family and retail assets worth $5 billion.
