Torchy's Tacos deploys AI hiring platform
An Austin, Texas-based taco chain is utilizing an artificial intelligence platform to improve its hiring process.
Torchy's Tacos has partnered with Landed, a leading generative AI-powered hiring platform, which offers advanced candidate matching, personalized text engagement, automated scheduling, and multilingual AI.
Landed’s proprietary technology, utilized by companies including Erewhon, Tao Group Hospitality, Jersey Mike’s and more, vets for personality, enthusiasm, and role suitability, boosting retention by matching candidates into appropriate roles. Torchy’s says the partnership has cut hiring time by 66% and reduced turnover by 62%, all while delivering a personalized applicant experience.

The partnership with Landed is not Torchy’s first technology collaboration. Last summer, the chain implemented the Oracle Simphony Cloud POS solution in all stores, in an effort to unify its digital engagement channels and improve operations with automation and real-time data and analytics.
