Amazon continues to leverage its purchase of Whole Foods Market, tying in one of the online giant’s popular promotions with incentives to shop in Whole Foods stores.
The online giant announced that its Treasure Truck will pop up at select Whole Foods’ locations across the country with new offers and incentives. The brightly decorated trucks carries a discounted item, with the offer varying day to day. Would-be “treasure hunters” first have to sign up to receive notifications about their local truck’s curated rotation of discounted items. If they see something they like, they buy it online via the Amazon app and pick it up in person at the truck.
The first Whole Foods Treasure Truck deal is an Instant Pot Duo Mini Pressure Cooker. Customers who purchase the Instant Pot from the Treasure Truck through the Amazon App will also receive a $10 off $40 purchase coupon at Whole Foods Market, along with recipes from a noted cookbook author.
