Domestic Prime memberships may be hitting a peak, but Amazon could boost growth by focusing on new international subscribers.

Amazon Prime membership growth in the United States is at 55%, a level consistent with 2017, according to data that CNBC shared from RBC’s latest online shopping survey.

While Prime memberships show signs of slowing down across the United States, Amazon could jump-start growth across its loyalty program by focusing on untapped international markets. Efforts that could help include bolstering international brand awareness, and targeting the program in new countries, reported CNBC.
