Target opening seven stores in October — here are the locations
Target continues to expand its larger store format.
The discounter will open seven stores in October, with six of the locations topping Target’s 125,000-sq.-ft. average as it continues to lean into its larger footprint. The openings are part of the 20 new locations that Target plans to open this year, and also reflect the retailer’s commitment to building more than 300 stores during the next decade.
Target’s upcoming fall debuts follow the opening of seven stores in July and August.
The following Target stores are set to open on Oct. 12.
- Arizona: Queen Creek Gantzel and Combs
Located at Vestar’s Vineyard Towne Center, the store is approximately 146,000 sq. ft. and features an Apple at Target, CVS Pharmacy, Disney store at Target, Starbucks Café and Target Optical.
- Florida: Wesley Chapel Grove
The store is approximately 149,000 sq. ft. and features an Apple at Target, CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks Café and Target Optical. It’s the third new store Target has opened in Florida this year.
- Nebraska: Grand Island
The store is approximately 148,000 sq. ft. and features an Apple at Target, CVS Pharmacy and Starbucks Café.
- South Carolina: Indian Land
The store is approximately 149,000 sq. ft. and features a CVS Pharmacy, Disney store at Target and a Starbucks Café.
- Virginia: South Riding
The store is approximately 148,000 sq. ft. and features an Apple at Target, CVS Pharmacy, Disney store at Target and Starbucks Café.
The following Target stores are set to open on Oct. 19:
- California: Fresno Fancher Creek
The store is approximately 148,000 sq. ft. and features an Apple at Target, CVS Pharmacy, Disney store at Target and a Starbucks Café.
- Texas: Stafford Kirkwood Road
The store is approximately 125,000 sq. ft. and features a CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks Café and Target Optical. It is also the second store Target has opened this year in the Lone Star State, where it now operates 159 locations.
