Target opening eight stores in July and August — here are the locations
Target Corp. is celebrating the opening of eight new stores this summer — including its 320th location in California.
The openings are part of the 20 new locations that Target plans to open this year, and also reflect the retailer’s commitment to building more than 300 stores over the next decade. Target is also leaning into larger footprints. Three of the new locations top the chain’s 125,000-sq.-ft. store average.
Here is the list of new Target stores opening this summer.
- New York: Queens Astoria (opening July 20)
The store is approximately 41,000 sq. ft.; services include order pickup and same-day delivery with Target Circle 360, with next-day delivery available to all of Astoria. It also features a CVS Pharmacy.
Noteworthy: Queens Astoria’s floor-to-ceiling glass offers a clear view of New York City’s Hell Gate Bridge from the store's third floor. It’s Target’s eighth store in the Queens borough and 108th in the state of New York.
- California: Jurupa Valley (opening Aug. 17)
This store is more than 147,000 sq. ft.; services include drive up, order pickup and same-day delivery with Target Circle 360, with next-day delivery available to all of Jurupa Valley. It also features an Apple at Target, CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks Café and Target Optical.
Noteworthy: Jurupa Valley is Target’s 320th store in California and has one of its largest food offerings in the Los Angeles market, with 16,000 sq. ft. of produce, meat and dairy.
- Connecticut: Guilford (opening Aug. 17)
This store is more than 78,000 sq. ft.; services include drive up and order pickup. It also features an Apple at Target, CVS Pharmacy, and Starbucks Café.
Noteworthy: This location is Target’s first store in Guilford, and 23rd in Connecticut.
- Connecticut: Norwalk (opening Aug. 17)
This store is more than 117,000 sq. ft.; services include drive up, order pickup and same-day delivery with Target Circle 360. It also features a CVS Pharmacy and Starbucks Café.
Noteworthy: This is Target’s 24th store in Connecticut and first location in Norwalk.
- Florida: Bradenton, Heritage Harbor (opening Aug. 17)
This store is more than 149,000 sq. ft.; services include drive up (including a canopy over the pickup lanes), order pickup and same-day delivery with Target Circle 360. It also features an Apple at Target, CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks Café and Target Optical.
Noteworthy: This is Target’s second store in Bradenton, following Bradenton Beach, which opened in the summer of 2024. It also features 16,000 sq. ft. of fresh produce, meat and dairy, as well as everyday essentials and pantry staples.
- Florida: Wildwood (opening Aug. 17)
This store is more than 136,000 sq. ft.; services include drive up (including a canopy over the pickup lanes), order pickup and same-day delivery with Target Circle 360. It also features an Apple at Target, CVS Pharmacy and Starbucks Café.
Noteworthy: Wildwood, Target’s 134th store in Florida, features 16,000 sq.ft. of fresh produce, meat and dairy, as well as everyday essentials and pantry staples.
- New Jersey: Flemington (opening Aug. 17)
This store is more than 74,000 sq. ft.; services include drive up and order pickup. It also features a CVS Pharmacy and Starbucks Café.
Noteworthy: Flemington is Target’s 53rd store in New Jersey.
- Pennsylvania: West Goshen (already opened)
This store is more than 120,000 sq. ft.; services include drive up, order pickup and same-day delivery with Target Circle 360, with next-day delivery available to all of West Chester. It also features a CVS Pharmacy and Starbucks Café.
Noteworthy: This is Target’s 79th store in Pennsylvania.
