Jaxxon is scaling its online fulfillment operations to serve customers in over 150 countries.
The Los Angeles-based, direct-to-consumer retailer of men’s and women’s jewelry collections and accessories is managing global online fulfillment with the cloud-based Descartes Systems Group e-commerce warehouse management system (WMS).
Jaxxon leverages the Descartes WMS solution to ensure that it can ship the right items on time, without overselling existing inventory and while maintaining full transparency into warehouse operations. The retailer has automatic access to order information, which it can execute via mobile multi-order pick-and-pack strategies and then feed into parcel shipment systems.
Ahead of the 2020 holiday season, Jaxxon stood up its warehouse and the Descartes solution in parallel. Now, the company can fulfill six times more orders per day than it could in its old facility before the 2020 holiday season.
“At Jaxxon, the customer experience starts behind the scenes,” said Josh Pierce, co-founder at Jaxxon. “As our shipment volumes began to grow rapidly, this commitment not only drove the transition to a new warehouse facility but also prompted our investment in leading e-commerce technologies for smarter warehouse management.”
“We’re pleased to help Jaxxon effectively scale its fulfillment operations to meet its rapidly expanding business,” said Troy Graham, VP at Descartes. “As brands work to release new products, build awareness and execute launches, they need warehouse and shipping capabilities that are ready to flex to keep pace with demand surges and business growth.”
