Ross Stores opens 17 locations in February, March — here's where
Ross Stores Inc. is heading into spring with an expanded store footprint.
The off-price apparel giant is opening 17 new stores in February and March, including 13 Ross Dress for Less stores and four DD’s Discounts locations across 11 states (full list of new locations found at later in article).
The openings are just the beginning for Ross Stores’ expansion in 2026. On the heels of its strong fourth quarter, the company announced plans to open 110 new stores this year, including 85 Ross stores and 25 DD’s Discounts.
The company added 90 stores during fiscal 2025 (80 new Ross Dress for Less and 10 DD’s Discounts), including its first-ever locations in the New York Metro area and Puerto Rico.
"We are thrilled to kick off our 2026 expansion with new stores that bring great value to our customers and new jobs to communities across the country," said Richard Lietz, executive VP of property development at Ross Stores. "Following strong new store performance in 2025, these openings build on that momentum. We expanded Ross Dress for Less in the Mountain, Midwest and Northeast regions while also strengthening our presence in key Sunbelt states. For DD’s, we added new stores in our core markets of California and Texas, as well as our inaugural location in Utah."

- North Hollywood, Calif.
Lietz added that the company remains confident in its long-term growth potential and sees a “clear path” towards 2,900 Ross locations and 700 DD’s Discounts locations nationwide.

Headquartered in Dublin, Calif., Ross Stores operates 1,917 Ross locations in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Guam and Puerto Rico, and 366 DD’s Discounts locations in 23 states.
