Rite Aid is running a beauty-focused spring promotion.
Rite Aid is offering a variety of special deals — in-store and online — on beauty products.
The drug store retailer is hosting its 2023 spring beauty event, “Beauty is in Bloom,” through Sunday, May 14. Through Saturday, May 13 customers can enter for a chance to win a $500 Rite Aid beauty shopping spree by logging into or signing up for the Rite Aid Rewards loyalty program.
Each week through May 13, Rite Aid will offer a variety of promotions on beauty items such as cosmetics, skincare, and sun care. Some specific savings during the event will include:
- Week of April 23: Buy one, get one 50% off Neutrogena and Maybelline New York.
- Week of April 30: Buy one, get one 50% off L'Oréal and $10 bonus cash reward on $30 worth of La Roche-Posay purchases.
- Week of May 7: Buy two, get one free Kiss nails and lashes, and buy one, get one 75% off Revlon.
During the last two weekends of the “Beauty is in Bloom” event, May 6–7 and May 13–14, Rite Aid will provide shoppers with “Beauty Bags” filled with sample-sized seasonal skincare and beauty products from multiple brands. The promotion will also include discounts on select beauty brands and surprise in-store giveaways.
“We listen to the preferences and needs of our customers and have worked diligently to curate a desirable collection of the most sought-after beauty brands on the market,” said Pamela Kohn, senior VP, chief merchandising officer at Rite Aid. “Whether you’re looking for clean ingredients, the hottest new colors or what’s trending on social media, you can find it at your neighborhood Rite Aid.”
Rite Aid shrinks Q4 loss, expects loss in fiscal 2024
Rite Aid is offering this three-week seasonal promotion on the heels of narrowing its loss in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2023 as its sales rose, helped by a rise in front-end sales. Rite Aid said it lost $241.3 million in the quarter ended March 4, 2023, compared to a loss of $389.06 million in the year-ago period.
For fiscal 2024, Rite Aid expects revenue of $21.7 billion to $22.1 billion, below analysts’ estimates of $22.88 billion. The company expects to report a fiscal 2024 net loss of $439 million to $466 million, more than analysts had forecast.
Headquartered in Philadelphia, Rite Aid operates more than 2,300 retail pharmacy locations across 17 states. It also operates Seattle-area regional drugstore chain Bartell Drugs, pharmacy benefits company Elixir, and corporate health services provider Health Dialog.
