  • Cold Stone Creamery opens first Pakistan store in September

    Scottsdale, Ariz. - The Cold Stone Creamery will open its first store in Pakistan in September. Kahala Brands, the parent company of Cold Stone Creamery, has signed a master franchise agreement with Venus Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd., part of the Venus Group of companies, spearheaded by Adnan Asad.  

  • Uniqlo to enter Midwest with Chicago flagship in fall 2015

    New York -- Uniqlo will make its Midwest debut in fall 2015, opening a flagship in downtown Chicago in fall 2015. The store, located at 830 North Michigan Avenue, will be Uniqlo’s second largest location in the United States, after its Fifth Avenue flagship in New York.

  • Ace Hardware to join Spring Creek Village

    Dallas — Venture Commercial, an X Team International partner, has completed a lease to bring a 16,000-sq.-ft. Ace Hardware store to Spring Creek Village, located at 7989 Belt Line Road on the northwest corner of Belt Line and Coit Road in north Dallas. 

    Ace Hardware joins other Spring Creek tenants Just Fitness, Polly DuPont, Citi Bank, and Black-Eyed-Pea.

  • Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf inks Japan rollout deal

    Los Angeles — The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has inked an exclusive deal with developer L.A. Style to expand the coffee and tea retailer into Japan by the end of this year.

    L.A. Style is a joint-venture partnership between fast-casual restaurateur Hotland Co. and Japan’s largest shopping mall developer Aeon Mall Co.
    The deal ultimately calls for 200 stores across Japan.

  • The Fresh Market to open this fall at The Village at Livingston

    Livingston, New Jersey — The Fresh Market will open a 23,000-sq.-ft. store at The Village at Livingston (New Jersey), occupying a portion of the center’s former Pathmark store. The store is slated to open fall 2014.

    The 93,000-sq.-ft. shopping center, which is managed and developed by Eastman Companies of Livingston, features tenants Olive Garden, GameStop, Wine Legend, Karate USA, Hudson City Savings and Zen Japanese Cuisine.

  • Dillard’s to Anchor Conway’s Central Landing

    Conway, Ark. -- The Central Landing retail development now underway in Conway, Arkansas, has added a well-established name as a key anchor for the development’s first phase. Will Wilson, president of Jim Wilson & Associates, LLC and the company’s partner, the Conway Development Corporation, announced the completion of a letter of intent with Dillard’s to become part of the Central Landing development.

    The Arkansas-based retailer will become an anchor for the development’s first phase.

  • SRS Real Estate Partners hires senior associate in Orlando

    Dallas —
 SRS Real Estate Partners has hired Danielle M. O'Hara Murphy as a senior associate in the Orlando office. She will primarily focus on providing tenant representation for national retailers, as well as acquisitions, dispositions, investment properties and landlord representation.

    O’Hara Murphy previously worked with CBRE, The Staubach Company and JLL.

  • Divaris signs 3 leases for 14,000 sq. ft. in Richmond

    Richmond, Virginia — Divaris Real Estate announced the signing of three leases totaling approximately 14,000 sq. ft. of commercial space in Richmond, Virginia.

    Dollar General renewed its lease for 8,000 sq. ft. in the Divaris-leased and –managed 360 West Shopping Center, located at 7218 Hull Street Rd.

    The Dolan Company signed a lease for 3,120 sq. ft. of office space, and Liquid Glass Kustomz, automotive customizing, signed a lease for 2,856 sq. ft. of flex space in the Divaris-leased and –managed Belt Trade Center.
