  • Advance Auto Parts to open at Ashburn Farm Village Center

    Ashburn, Va. -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased space at Ashburn Farm Village Center, located in Ashburn, Va., to Advance Auto Parts.

    The new, 7,134-sq.-ft. store is slated to open later this year.

    The 89,000-sq.-ft. shopping center is anchored by Global Foods Market, alongside national retailers such as Hair Cuttery, Pizza Hut and Goodyear.

  • Paster acquires Cahill Plaza

    St. Paul, Minn. -- A partnership between St. Paul, Minn.-based Paster Enterprises and Chicago-based Shiner Capital Partners announced the purchase of Cahill Plaza, located in Inver Grove Heights, Minn.

    Cahill Plaza is a 69,000-sq.-ft. shopping center that is anchored by a 52,017-sq.-ft. Cub Foods and a 6,165-sq.-ft. MGM Liquor. Additional tenants include Great Clips, RR Cleaners, C & A Nails, Edward Jones and Papa Johns.

  • RMC moves headquarters

    Tampa, Fla. -- RMC Property Group announced it has acquired Carrollwood Corporate Center in Tampa, Fla., and is expanding and moving its corporate offices to the office building.

    The Class A office building encompasses 20,000 sq. ft.
     

  • Build-A-Bear Workshop to make airport debut

    St. Louis -- Build-A-Bear Workshop is teaming up with Orlando International Airport to open a new store in mid-May. It will be the first Build-A-Bear Workshop store located inside an airport.

    The Build-A-Bear Workshop store at Orlando International Airport will be located in the Main Terminal. The store will provide the same experience and interaction as mall-based Build-A-Bear Workshop retail locations.
     

  • Westwood Town Center sold

    New York City -- Westwood Town Center, a shopping center located in West Seattle, has sold for $78.1 million.

    The buyer was MEPT Westwood Village LLC. The seller was Wesbild Holdings of Vancouver, B.C.

    Newmark Realty Capital of Seattle arranged $39 million of the financing of the center.
     

  • Ikea store with geothermal heating/cooling to open in July

    New York City -- Ikea announced that its 415,000-sq.-ft. store in Centennial, Col., will open on July 27.

    “The excellent construction progress made this past fall and winter by Saunders Construction and the subcontractors -- as well as professional and timely reviews by local authorities -- created an opportunity for us to open much earlier than originally envisioned,” said Ikea project construction manager Doug Wolfe.

  • Mango to open in Manhattan

    New York City -- Spain’s fast-fashion Mango will open a store in Manhattan’s Herald Square vicinity in May.

    The retailer is taking over a 5,500-sq.-ft. space from Lane Bryant at 7 West 34th Street.
     

  • Tutti Frutti Yogurt leases restaurant space at Regency Centers' Legacy Center

    Frisco, Texas -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased restaurant space to Tutti Frutti Yogurt, which will open a 1,412-sq.-ft. store at Legacy Center, in Frisco, Texas.

    The specialty frozen yogurt retailer is slated to open its new store in July.
    The 119,500-sq.-ft. shopping center includes national retailers such as Starbucks, Subway, Great Clips and The UPS Store.
